Sister-and-brother team Gerry and Sam Serotte are known in the metro Atlanta community as experienced, compassionate and trusted senior services providers. Prior to establishing Move My Nest, they owned a private care home business for 15 years, through which they provided non-medical and personal care services to individuals, allowing them to remain in their own homes or with family. As owners of Move My Nest, the Serottes are committed to providing the same unrivaled personal attention to detail and care that they are known for — and that older adults and their families deserve!

About Gerry Serotte
A resident of Roswell for more than 30 years, Gerry’s first career was in the data communications industry, serving in various marketing, sales and sales management roles. She was instrumental in helping veterinarian Carla Courtney start Happy Tails Pet Therapy, a nonprofit organization of volunteers and their pets that visit hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospice facilities, inpatient and outpatient rehab, psychiatric facilities and programs for special needs children. It was Gerry’s initial Happy Tails visits to an assisted living community that started her on a path to working with seniors and their families, leading her to first co-own a senior care provider business, and now to provide compassionate move management services to seniors through Move My Nest.
About Sam Serotte
Long-time Atlanta resident Sam Serotte’s first career was as a tenured elementary school teacher, teaching fourth and fifth grades in Fulton County. He later worked in wholesale sales and then in the home furnishings industry before co-owning and operating a senior care provider business in the east metro area. Sam, who has enjoyed square dancing for nearly 30 years, often promotes the physical and mental fitness benefits of this fun sport-hobby to the community and has conducted square dancing workshops for children. Sam’s strong desire to help others and his unique skill set led him to establish a career in the senior care industry. Now, as co-owner of Move My Nest, he is pleased to use his knowledge and skills in managing the moving process for older adults.
